Convoy of Hope is a Christ-centered international relief agency providing feeding programs, agricultural training, and women’s empowerment as well as emergency disaster relief. In 2023, they served over 3,600,000 people around the globe. Their annual report is truly incredible. Check out their annual report here.

This Christmas we’re raising funds to build a water well in Tanzania. The cost of one well is $15,000.

The Tanzanian economy depends on agriculture. While the country produces enough food to feed its population, the poorest families — including refugees — have limited access to it. Climate change has also become a concern, as it increases the vulnerability of crops and livestock amid natural disasters. In addition to this, Tanzania also faces nutritional challenges, including malnutrition, anemia, and obesity. Convoy of Hope started working in Tanzania in 2013 through Children’s Feeding and Women’s Empowerment programs. Girls’ Empowerment groups offer school-aged girls a safe environment to learn about life skills and other critical topics. Participants are equipped to become influential leaders in their communities and nation. The Agriculture program in Tanzania was launched in 2014.
