The Hills Church staff is made up of a fun, vibrant group of leaders who are passionate about ministry and life beyond the church walls. Located in the historic and diverse Denver neighborhood of Park Hill, our team brings energy, creativity, and real-world experience to our faith community.
Mission: We believe God has called us to follow Jesus, love our neighbors, and to be an economically and racially diverse church.
Rhythms: Sundays at The Hills looks a little different than most churches. We alternate between meeting all together in a school on the first and second Sundays of the month and in micro churches throughout Denver on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. On 5th Sundays, we share a meal together in lieu of a service. In our context, we have found this the best model for making disciples and following the way of Jesus.

Context: Denver like most large cities has very distinct neighborhoods. The Hills Church is in the Park Hill Neighborhood. It boasts that it is one of the oldest integrated neighborhoods in the US! The neighborhood has a little bit of everything - young and old, black and white, rich and poor. Niche ranks the neighborhood first out of 74 Denver neighborhoods in diversity. Unfortunately, racial and economic divisions have also had a long history in the neighborhood. We believe the gospel provides the mandate and the resources for us to be a multiethnic church that reflects the beautiful diversity of God’s kingdom.
The neighborhood is mostly residential, but there are a multitude of food, fun, and arts within a mile radius including Denver’s largest park. We’re also just a short drive from the mountains which is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream playground!

Current Open Positions
Family Ministry Director/Pastor. This position will primarily focus on equipping and serving families with a focus on developing ministry for preschool through high school age children. This could be a part-time or full-time position. Click HERE for a full description.
